Breast cancer results

Post by nancyl »

I met with the surgeon last Wednesday and he had very good news. The cancer did not spread to the lymph nodes and he got a clean margin around the lump, which was 4 mm. He removed a few lymph nodes. I already have full mobility with that arm. Lots of positive thoughts and prayers got me through this, thanks to all of you.

It is low grade, stage 1. Next week I meet with the oncologist and the following week the radiation doctor. So I will know then what the next step will be. I'm pretty sure of radiation, and one of the medications, seeing it is hormone receptive.

I am still very relieved, the results were good and I'm sure I'll get through the radiation.

Again, thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers.

Nancy

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thanks for the update nancy. It was great talking to you the other day. If I sounded like I was in a tunnel, it's because I was in the car.
So, it's all good news! Sounds a lot like mine. You will be fine with the radiation. Just make sure you use a good lotion several times a day. my skin didn't begin to get red until the last ( 4th) week. hope the same goes for you also
Positive thoughts!
