pancreatitus and MC

Just wondering if there is a link between the two because 4 years ago i had pancreatitus and my symptoms started after that. Took me till recently to have the MC diagnosed but wasnt sure if the two relate

Hi,

Yes there is definitely a link. Pancreatitis is somewhat common with MC because MC can (and often does) result in inflammation of any part of the digestive system.

Typically, after we change our diet and bring our MC symptoms under control (as our gut heals), the pancreatic inflammation fades away also.

Alright that would explain why my symptoms started after my pancreas flared up. My pancreas has been good sense, but now my small intestine is flared.
