Tex - I got your book today!
I got Tex's new book in the mail today entitled "Vitamin D and Autoimmune Disease." It's late and I have to work tomorrow so I won't be able to get much read tonight - just an overview.
Thank you, Tex, for all your hard work and dedication to research and make available to all of us this wealth of information. It means so much coming from "one of us" who has been there.
Still not happy I had to find everyone here, but so thankful I did.
You really do!
Love,
Paula

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Uh-Oh -- impending dread.
You know, you said those same exact words when your first book came out (lol).
Some of what I read is hard to swallow, some is hard to wrap my head around, but at least it keeps me moving forward and well informed.

I finished the kindle version yesterday and will start reading the reference material. Some of it is hard to wrap my head around.
Thanks for taking the time to write it, Tex. As I say in bible study, some of it is like trying to teach math to a gold fish....annoying to both you and the gold fish

Apparently I didn't provide enough explanation for some of the details.

Hi Pat,
I agree. I believe a sufficient vitamin D level is vital for long-term health, and if doctors really want to promote improved health, they should be recommending tests for vitamin D levels, and advising patients on the importance of keeping those levels up where they need to be for each patient's particular situation.
Thanks for posting.
