What meat do you eat?

Post by mcnomore »

I can't eat pork, beef, chicken/turkey and lamb is probably too fatty. Any ideas, what do others eat?

You could try venison. It is a very low fat meat. It is one of the meats that I eat. Can you eat any kind of fish?

There are not so fatty cuts of lamb, (and you can trim the fat off) in saying that, we need animal fat in our diet to help digestion. well cooked lamb digests easier than beef.

Salmon is another good source of easy to digest, full of good nutrients protein.

it depends what is readily available in your area... Best to go with something that you can regularly obtain and is not too expensive.

Fish is easy for me to digest, but I've never had an issue with fat in my diet.

Maybe try some canned salmon?

I eat a lot of shrimp, scallops, fish. I also eat a lot of turkey, lamb, and some beef and pork. Sometimes duck and quail.

Some farmers markets sell rabbit meat. The venison idea is a good one. I have a friend who hunts and sometimes we get some venison from him.

You could try goat meat perhaps, cabrito is popular in Mexico.

There is a store in austin that supposedly sells ostrich and elk. I haven't tried them.
