I did the 23 and me tests a few years ago and never regretted it. The results can be daunting but so, so interesting. I gave a few of the more problematic genetic possibilities to my doctors and they were very interested. If I have a genetic predisposition to a rare form of glaucoma, my ophalmologist wanted to know about it.

Too bad the medical establishment threw a monkey wrench into the works. God forbid people become informed.
