Innate Vitamins and Supplements

Post by nancyl »

Has anyone ever heard of or taken supplements from a company called Innate Response Formulas? They are suppose to be made from whole foods and not chemicals. I can get them through my accupuncturist. Right now she going over everything that I am taking to see if I should eliminate or add something. They are pretty expensive, but noticed they are a lot more affordable on line.

They are also free of gluten, diary, magnesium stearate, herbicides, pesticides, sugar, gelatin, and corn.

I would appreciate any and all feedback.

Nancy
I had a quick look at the website/product range.

the products /blends are fairly stock standard, there was no stand out or unique mix that I noticed.
The products are mostly capsules, some powders; which for quite a few of the products you could get equivalent product free of gluten/corn etc cheaper elsewhere.

I would use discernment.
- for any product with multiple ingredients I would proceed with caution (especially while you are undergoing your treatments) as you may react to one of the ingredients
- compare pricing. Look at the price per capsule and what dosage you are getting per capsule, and compare this with getting products from your health food shop or via iHerb.

hope the treatments are going well
take care

Nancy:
All food derived supplements are made using yeast cultures. I am not familiar with the brand so I cannot vouch for it. If you are not sensitive to yeast, they might be worth trying. Rainbow Naturals just came out with a line of food based supplements as well and that is a well known brand.

No, I don't have a problem with yeast. I may try one for a while just to see how I do. I know I can get them cheaper online. I have heard of Rainbow Naturals too.

Thank you Gabes and Dr. Ann.
