Tattoos are a bit much for me

Post by Liz »

Tattoos are a bit much for me. Far too permanent anyway. I think I will stay with the pierced ears as well. Have had mine done five times. The first time was when I was thirteen & a friend & I bought these beautiful diamonte dangley earings from Woolworth & I did both hers & my own with a cork & a bodkin while my mother was out shopping. Not many nerves in your earlobe & a bit of a rub & hold the ice on it for a minute & the only thing that worries you is the crunch as the bodkin goes through    Mum hit the roof when she saw us. Nearly lost my earlobes with infection as a result, had to let them heal up. Next time a friends mother did them, same way. Brother caught them while we were fooling around & ripped them. And so it went. I pierced my Mum's, sister's & various other friends ears but could not bring myself to do my daughters. Took each of them to the doctor to have them done.

Love
