My lab test showed that I am sensitive to eggs.

Is the main culprit the albumin in the whites? If so, could I just eat the yolk??

Hi Linda,

Usually, the albumin is the problem, and that is what EnteroLab tests for (they don't test for sensitivity to the yolk, because that would double the cost of the test).

So yes, if you can separate the yolk, it might be safe to eat.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
