They changed prescription charges in uk.. reduced to £5 an item. soon they are gonna abolish the charge

Wow! That's pretty impressive, especially if it will apply to all prescriptions. We'll probably all want to move over there.

Now if we could just clone Sunny's GI doc, and throw in the UK's free prescriptions, we'd have it made.

lol!!! ye pity i aint got a gf food prescription though..eventually will be free. god knows how the goverment will cover the costs if this happens...

Maybe they'll enact a tax on the use of public restrooms.

If they start providing free GF food, in addition to the free meds, I know for sure we'll all want to move over there.

lol!!! mind u the goverment are all talk!! they make you think your getting a good deal and end up taking it from another revenue. For example council tax...property band for your house tax..water rates. they willprobably take from that..

public restrooms...some have a charge here..20p lol

And the bad part is, as soon as any government anywhere in the world figures out a new way to add a tax, all the rest of them start mulling over the ways that they can use the same idea, to gain more revenue, whether they offer more services or not. LOL.

We used to have pay toilets here (US) in places like airports. I haven't seen any in years. Has anyone?

Those were privately-owned, though, weren't they? I think that Angy is referring to government-owned facilities.

The public toilet in Harrod's is 35p last time I was there. Jay feels that the cost of medical care in the UK far surpasses ours here but does sometimes take time for a doc appointment. He absolutely loves living in the UK and probably will never return here. Sad they are so far away, especially the grandchildren.

Is this legit? Newbie here, can't afford the budosenide here in US. Only been dx since October, symptomatic since April. Got samples of mesalamine, not working along with immodium and Bentyl. I'm down 20 lbs. incontinent nocturnal diarrhea, accidents, fatigue, dehydration.
