Thanks for this chuckle Theresa! I actually have a job where I work outside and in the winter people always bring me hot chocolate. (and I always looked forward to it too!) Saturday was my first day working since I was diagnosed and adopted the histamine restriction of no chocolate. On our way there I told my husband if the event organizer offers to get us hot chocolate would you please ask her for just a cup of hot water? This was my first time having to place a special request to a stranger for my diet restrictions. She seemed unsure about it, but complied. Later some other people refilled my cup with very hot water from their house. It was too hot to drink- but the little bit I did taste was so chlorinated it seemed as if it had been dipped directly from a swimming pool. Oddly the chlorine taste (and the heat) was gone once it was cold.

Theresa,

 I'm in the same boat as that snowman, because I have a similar problem.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
