He said I will probably be cycling off and on Uceris for the foreseeable future, maybe the rest of my life. It has worked well for me and as long as it does he sees no reason to change. He thought it was great that I was able to be off the med for 6 months and control the symptoms with diet.
I will go back in 4 weeks for a follow up and I am supposed to stay on the Uceris until then.

Hi Nerdhume, glad the doctor was helpful and responded positively to your diet changes as an adjunct.

6 months without meds is a pretty good run in the MC world.. I hope this next round will set you up for longer remission next time.
