Candy Cure?

Post by nerdhume »

While trying to find some ggodies I could have I came across this recipe:
http://cookiesandcups.com/easyrecipe-print/11189-0/

I realize there is no cure, but I am amazed how much better my digestion has been since taking one of these after each meal. There have been several articles about macaroons, I couldn't have those because they are made with egg whites.

Note the ingredients won't work for everyone, I have discovered I can tolerate pure butter (milk fat, instead of milk sugar or milk protein). Anyway it's an easy recipe to try. I added a teaspoon of vanilla.

Theresa,

What do you use for the chocolate spread?

Thanks,

I used Hershey's Chocolate syrup because the spread has soy in it. I like them just plain without the chocolate also. I found Tollhouse Dark Chocolate Chips that don't have soy.

Theresa,

Thanks for the recipes, I'm going to try the Almond Joy/Mounds. Here is a Egg-free Paleo Macaroon that I have made several times: http://elanaspantry.com/egg-free-paleo-macaroons/

Several changes that I made were to decrease the vanilla extract and I did not use a food processor, I just mixed the ingredients.
