Soy Free Mayonaise

Post by nerdhume »

Have been on Amazon Prime for a while, recently I tried the PrimePantry mostly because I wanted the soy free mayo and didn't want a case of it. It was a great experience, and I will be using it to order my 'special' foods that I can't get in a small town.
The mayo doesn't bother me at all! It has eggs in it, I have found I can tolerate eggs in small amounts, but soy in all the other mayos just sends me straight to WD.
It has been so long since I had mayo that my taste buds may be fooled, but I had it on a sandwich with GF bread and it tasted like the real stuff.

Happy New Year!

I was missing mayo too! I agree on the taste buds being fooled. Since I really can't handle eggs, I found this product which does have pea protein and brown rice syrup (questionable for me). I can handle it smeared in a piece of ham or mixed with shredded turkey for a turkey salad..can't do chicken. I've come a long way with my substitutions!

Hi Ladies,

My favorite soy-free mayo is Spectrum canola mayo.

Me too, Polly. Spectrum mayo is available at Whole Foods.

Since Canola bothers me also, I buy Hains brand mayo at a local independent grocery. It's not cheap, but I use it to make deviled eggs, potato salad, cole slaw, dipping sauces…etc. And Theresa, it IS REAL MAYO that you are eating! it just uses different oil.

Now they have this brand at my local Walmart! It is $3.98 the same as Amazon.
