People in Florida take football very seriously, especially the three main university teams. During a bowl game, a Florida running back scored a touchdown and promptly pooped his pants. It was caught on national television!! My step son posted the story on his Facebook page and thinks it is hilarious. I can only imagine how embarrassed that young man must be.
Many of us have horror stories about pooping in public (Rome, Italy train station for me) and feel compassion for others in a similar situation. However, to have the embarrassing incident caught on national TV is probably the worst by far. I wonder if the poor guy has Crohns or MC.

Pooped on TV
To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.

I'll bet a GF cookie that he does (or he might have celiac disease or UC).I wonder if the poor guy has Crohns or MC. I wonder if the poor guy has Crohns or MC.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hi Sheila,
Thanks for posting. Usually I follow the bowl games pretty closely but not this year.
The only known Gator I know who publicly played with inflammatory bowel disease was David Lerner who played with Crohns disease and has since graduated. http://www.ccfa.org/living-with-crohns- ... ifies.html, http://www.gatorzone.com/football/bios. ... yer_id=196, David Lerner was diagnosed with Crohns summer of 2011 and all of his play was in 2011....pretty impressive.
The recent Gator athlete videos that are all over the internet from the Birmingham Bowl showing the "accident" make me sad. The player with the "accident" made Most Valuable Player too which isn't coming up on most articles.
I live in Gainesville and we have a particularly virulent flu going around......a lot of D. The BF and his two employees got it. Also the BF's son, sonster. Somehow I didn't get it. Perhaps the player has celiac, the flu, or perhaps the athlete ate too much greasy food over the holidays.
It is not uncommon for NFL players to have blood or fecal "accidents." http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/11/opini ... -well&_r=0. There also seems to be a possible link of concussions tied out to "accidents."
NFL players are at higher risk of getting tough strains of MRSA than the general population due to the bodily fluid thing in locker rooms and there is a possible link to MRSA due to play on synthetic turf fields and exposure to bodily fluids.
I really feel for this young man. It is a huge deal to play Division I ball for Miami, FSU or the Gators and to have this splashed all over the internet makes me sick.

Tex, as we know celiac disease is grossly under reported in the African American community. Heck it is tough for Caucasions to get diagnosed but African Americans are told "they don't get celiac."I'll bet a GF cookie that he does (or he might have celiac disease or UC).
