Hi everyone,
The crazy thing about LC for me is that my pains travel all over. Last night horrible gas pains very low in my ab on the left. Today right side back ache around my waist. I guess it is that darn inflammation which causes widespread body pain. This is so not fun.

BEEN THERE
I don't always have something to say and have missed everyone. I HAVE FLARES EVERY COUPLE MONTHS OR SO IT SEEMS. My lower back is sore which comes and goes and my right side and way low right side abdominal gets cramps. I had loose bowels today and I can feel my body aching. My knees hurt too! I never had it like this but could be althralgia along with my mc acting up. I lost my big sister in August and the stress hasn't helped. I am going to try magnesium as I already take a D3 pill every morning. I didn't know that there were so many forms of colitis!

Hi Mary Jo,
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your sister, and that you've been having flares, but otherwise it's good to see a post from you again. And yes, the stress certainly makes symptoms worse
When I had those symptoms a few years ago I ordered some EnteroLab tests and discovered that it was because my diet had become cross-contaminated with gluten, and I was producing antibodies to casein (which I thought I could tolerate because it didn't seem to cause any GI symptoms). The combination was causing osteoarthritis symptoms. After I cleaned up my diet gain, the symptoms faded away.
Sometimes, stress alone can be enough to trigger a flare. I hope you can get your symptoms under control soon.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I have to eat my greens more because I truly don't like the idea of using Citracal tablets. I admit to my wrongful diet and just wanted to be contrite and hope my friends will still exist. I disappoint myself. When one is gluten intolerant, milk and egg intolerant I just need to go more Paleo. Sorry potty ppl
