Good News!

Post by Marcia K »

In November of 2013 I had an annual female exam. It was 2 months after my LC diagnosis. For the first time ever I had an abnormal test result. My doctor said that it was nothing to worry about, the cause could be inflammation around the cervix. (There's that word inflammation again.) She wanted to see me in a year. I just had the exam again and the result was normal. This is another sign of the healing that is taking place within my body. To those who are just beginning this journey, there is hope. I have not been on medication, it has all been by dietary changes. I am forever grateful to all of you in this group and for Tex's book. I don't know where I would be today without your advice & guidance!

Congratulations on the great news, Marcia. A great sign that healing is occurring. I also have not taken any medications, but made the necessary diet changes. I totally understand the "forever grateful" part. Finding this group has given me my life back.

Wishing you continued healing on your journey.

Marcia
congratulations.
And woo hoo that there is evidence of healing..... makes the strict diet and all the changes worth it!

something of note, here in Aus there are two collection types for papsmears. for people with an inclination to inflammation, there is a better quality collection type that can avoid abnormal result on the first one.
