Coca Pulse Test to detect food irritants

Post by Summer S »

I got this from my dietician. Has anybody tried it? If so, was it successful?

Have ready the food you want to test plus and extra empty dish. Also have ready a timer and a piece of paper and a pencil. Sit down somewhere where these items are easy to reach. Sit for a minute to let your body settle in. Then take your pulse for a whole minute. Write down that number. Now take the food in question and chew and ensalivate it in your mouth. DO NOT swallow it. Do this for 30 seconds then spit it out. Now take your pulse for another whole minute. Do not get up during any of these steps as it will change the reading. Compare your numbers. If your pulse rose (or dropped) by more than 6 points then the food is a likely irritant to you. If it is higher than 10 points it is absolutely an irritant. Note: you should not test foods back to back with this method. You’ll need to give a few hours in between at minimum.

my acupuncturist did a similar technique - he can muscle test via pulse rate etc

I know that a couple of members here, Kari and maybe another person had a practitioner that could do a similar technique...

All along the lines of 'listen to your body'

Your acupuncturist sounds cool, Gabes, yes, listen to your body.

Hi Joan,
Sure sounds legit!
My dieticians explanation sounds simpler. ;-)
