Vitamin D And Physicians

Post by tex »

Hi All,

I couldn't hold back a chuckle when I read the following title in the latest Vitamin D Newsletter:
Study finds high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in physicians
http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/blog/stu ... 113e81f515#

Is anyone who has had to almost twist their doctor's arm to convince her or him to include a vitamin D test as part of their order for lab tests surprised? This surely explains why so many physicians don't seem to be concerned about their patients' vitamin D levels.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
