Interesting Statement

I saw my doctor (gi) the other day, and when I mentioned microscopic colitis, he said that it's a possibility but that 9 out of 10 people that have microscopic colitis are women, or older adults.

Also, I had blood tests done to check for inflammation and it came back negative, in addition to more blood tests to check for everything else. Everything came back good.

I also made mention about why I get eye headaches sometimes, and thinking it was related to inflammation. He said that could just be a reaction to something I ate, not really inflammation due to something else.

How frustrating. While MC in males is rare, it clearly does happen.

I always test negative for inflammation, but I have positive biopsies for MC. Generally (since we're all different), the inflammation from MC isn't severe enough to show up in blood work (even though it's obvious to us). My GI says that blood tests are a good indicator for high amounts of inflammation seen with something like a Crohn's flare.
