Post by ldubois7 »

Has anyone been successful with rice protein powder, even if they tested #3 (high reaction) to rice on the Enterolab test?

Same goes for a ox bile (bile acid) supplement, if you tested #3 on Enterolab for beef?

Hi Linda,
Wanted to mention that I am a 3 with rice, and I can't tolerate much that even has brown rice syrup, etc. I would not be able to do the protein, which is what I think the test is for, e.g., the protein isolate in rice (or one of them)l

You could try it, and report back.

I like hemp seed protein/ raw hempseed. It works well for me. Tastes bad on its own but in a smoothie it's creamy and delish.

3 tbs shelled hemp seed is 10 grams protein.

This is my green smoothie recipe with nutritional breakdown if you're interested. It's not for everyone but I like it.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, Nancy.

I assumed that would be the case...and I may experiment someday.....

I can't eat hemp/hops products... :(

I am experimenting with garbanzo bean flour now..... oh, to be 'normal' again....

I did order the bile acids, though....hope they do the job!
