The colonoscopy report says I may have a sigmoid loop and mentions a tender anus, but that is probably from the prep. It was a very painful procedure but I am not sure why.

I have been reading the threads you posted about magnesium. I found an oil or a lotion on Amazon.ca. The price is $66.00. I still don't know enough about it to make a decision.

A loop would cause it to be a painful procedure. My colonoscopy was painful also, but the doctor didn't mention the reason, and I didn't ask (I just assumed that they all were painful). It was surely due to the stenosis.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
If I had a blockage, I don't think I do now. This morning I went through a spontaneous clearing out. Since the constipation episode followed by lots of sludge I have had thin ribbons of poop. Today I had small bits of poop followed by a large amount of sludge x2 followed by watery diarrhea x2.
Theresa, I tried the pooping position and it works. I did the colonic massage yesterday and I found there was a large amount of liquid in the area of the caecum. I could make it slosh around. That seems to be smaller now.
So I feel wrung out now. I wonder what comes next.
