Do you think you may have h.pylori, gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura), Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or iron-deficiency anemia? You should read this article. H.pylori could be causing the rest of those. Its a bacteria that lives in the stomach of many people, in up to 40% of Americans, and up to 90% of people in some countries. Many of the symptoms are the same as SIBO. This is discussed at length in Chapter 16 of the new Gut Health Protocol, as is a possible new treatment.

Looking back at my labs, it's been a while..... I was tested for it and many others in 2007 when I was first dx with CC and it came back negative. Not that I haven't picked up something between then and now but I don't think it's likely but may not hurt to test again. ?? Thanks for the link, it's good to look at all possibilities.
