Vanessa,
FWIW, the sugar alcohols (especially sorbitol) cause me to have D if I ingest any significant quantity of them, but in the small amounts used in most sublingual lozenges, I've never noticed any problems.

The risk of cross-contamination of corn with wheat is very low when handling whole grains (because the 2 grains are very easily separated by the cleaning equipment). The greatest risk of cross-contamination occurs during milling (grinding), because thoroughly cleaning out many stone mills is so difficult that it seldom gets done correctly. Therefore anytime corn is milled following wheat in a production line, a risk of cross-contamination exists. Still, that risk is typically very low, because of the huge volumes involved that dilute any carryover.
Of course sometimes freak accidents can happen, and those can bite us in the butt, but again, the odds are very low. In general, as far as I am aware, corn starch should be the purest (and safest) option available for an "inactive" filler ingredient in pharmaceutical products. That's providing that one is not sensitive to corn.

Has anyone experienced back pain?
I have been getting severe back pain at work it starts at the bottom of my right shoulder blade and goes over to my spine and its not
mussel pain. I suppose its from the constant twisting and turning but I have been doing this for quite A few years.
Vitamin ,mineral deffiancy?

In the past, I've had a lot of between-the-shoulderblades pain during the day while doing certain types of work, and a lot of lower back pain in bed. Eliminating gluten and casein from my diet helped immensely, but I still occasionally had minor back pain. Since I no longer have back pain these days, magnesium might be the difference. I take plenty of magnesium these days.

I guess my magnesium is low after skipping foot soaks for 2 days my hands started cramping so back to both I had to increase to 2 cups of Epsom salt.

Well I cancelled my app with my PCP and made A app with a Dermatologist in which I saw his PA. The growths were non cancerous and he froze them to eliminate.I also asked him to look at the top of my ear (dry skin that I could not get rid of)he took A biopsy.
Monday recd call from his nurse she gave it A medical name and informed me it was pre cancer and the main Dermatologist wanted me re evaluated.I saw the PA yesterday and he froze the top part of my ear to kill it, I see him in 2 months and if is not gone he will take another biopsy.I told him my vit D3 was down to 11 during the winter and he told me that could be what caused this and with MC I have poor asorbition. One more risk of low vit D3 for to long can cause cancer.

Terry,
As always, YMMV, but I had all sorts of problems with skin growths on my back and scalp when my magnesium level was chronically low.

Hi Terry,
Depending on where you feel you are at with your MC I have been able to gradually work in Magnesium Threonate liquid caps (best price I've found at Mercola.com) and I have been taking a half dose for a week now and that is 72mg elemental Mag and 1000mg Magtein and I am glad I am not seeing any adverse D with it. I am also spraying Mag oil morning and night and getting somewhere of 528mg. I soak when I can and it is helping, but I believe it takes some time for it to build properly. Plus we are afraid of the D so I assume when we feel like taking the next step of increasing we are cautious With that regimen I hope I am getting 600 mg right now and that will increase to 672 pretty soon. I am sure I could use more, and I will cross that bridge another day.
Cheers
Erica
