Checking in... Again

Post by hoosier1 »

Have been lurking occasionally, but not posting. Have had some interesting medical issues over the past year - likely neurological. I guess the challenges of life never end. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Rich,

Welcome back. I'm sorry to hear that you're having additional issues. I've recently had some new neurological issues myself that prompted me to do some serious research. As a result, I've created a new category (MTHFR) and a new forum there, called Methylation Issues, and I've just written the first post there. We have had many discussions about MTHFR in the recent past, but I only added the new forum tonight, less than an hour ago.

Have you been checked for MTHFR gene mutations? There's a chance that you might find the new forum interesting. It turns out that approximately half the population has MTHFR polymorphisms. Not all of us are significantly affected by these gene mutations even though we have them, but for some of us the effects can be surprisingly troublesome.

And your right of course, It's always something. Especially if we have MC.

I'm all on board with that thought! Life's challenges are never-ending. It all just rolls from one thing to another. Having friends who get it is a blessing. I hope at the very least you are coasting between life's ups and downs.

MTHFR Tex? Never heard of it but will be Googling it for sure next. Deb, Life's up and downs... That's a good way to describe it.

Rich
Great to see a post from you.

I encourage to do some reading about methylation etc.... There are some good links to info in the methylation section that Tex set up....

Since tweaking supplement protocol to suit my methylation issues, I have had vast improvement in all my health issues.....
