Question re Laser Treatment

Post by Lilja »

Hi

I've talked about my backpain, my buttpain and the pains in my legs.

Went to see my chiropractic yesterday, and today most of the pain is gone. But, he adviced me to make an appointment for laser treatment for the rest of the treatment.

Well, I did make an appointment for April 22, but driving home I came to think of the combination of laser and my CC.

Will laser treatment be harmful to my gut?

Would appreciate your thoughts on this :-)

Lilia,

I doubt that the treatment will cause adverse digestive system effects. Those low-level laser treatments also typically have very low (and very temporary) effectiveness for treating pain. Most research shows that they are no better than, to slightly better than a placebo.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
