I am so curious - what is that big trophy you are holding in your photo? Did you win it?

That picture was taken at the ripe old age of 35 before my life was completely turned upside down by my MC diagnosis. I unfortunately did not win that trophy (I could barely lift it).....my husband's Australian Rules Football team won it!

I did win 1 out of the 2 roller derby games that The Derby Dames let me in on......hence the outfit. I wanted to use that picture to remind myself of a time when life was not so complicated and that one day with hard work, I can get my life back. I like that your being nosy, after all, I consider you my family and am curious about everyone here!

I've been doing some reading in the confessions forum, I need more time to think of what I want to put in there :cool:

Thanks for enlightening me! Roller derby....I am impressed! Did you have an official "name"? I loved that movie (I think it was called "Whip It") about roller derby ladies. I don't think I would be brave enough to try it - it looks awfully fast and scary. If you are brave and tough enough to do roller derby, taming MC should be a snap! Giggle.

I thought about you when I wrote that. Like I said a long time ago, my husbands dream would be to travel to Australia and see a real game. I just want to visit Australia let alone see one of the hardest games played by man.Go St. kilda!
