Hi Brooke,

I knew you were struggling early on but Wow! Oh! Wow!
though I tested negative from a colonoscopy biopsy, my GI doctor diagnosed me with MC, most likely collagenous. Tex and my doctor told me I could be so early in the MC timeline that biopsies didn't pick it up. Or, the doctor failed to biopsy the affected region.
You were lucky the GI doc gave you the MC diagnosis despite lack of biopsy results. Most GI docs in that situation would have told you that you had IBS.

That's interesting, because in my new book I describe in detail (supported by plenty of peer-reviewed, published research) how autoimmune disease is caused by inadequate vitamin D levels.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I am much better. I ate very little and seem to be back on track. I went to my naturopath yesterday and then had acupuncture. It was very helpful. Hoping it lasts. At least no D this morning!
Strongly believe I have a form of MC that began to flare December 27, 2013.

Brooke,
Did you ever take the Prescript Assist? I'm on day 2 and noticing big changes, although I still have mild D. It has some scary theoretical risks of systemic infection, so I'm a little nervous.
