humbird753 wrote:Interesting that your profile says you are sensitive to gluten, dairy and eggs, and you're eating all of them. IMO you're being very brave. I agree with Vanessa, and hope you don't take steps back from the healing you worked so hard to get.

Am also jealous. I doubt I would fare so well.
I tested sensitive on the enterolab test. The only one I absolutely have a huge and immediate reaction to is soy. If I got any of that on the cruise it must have been a small enough amount to fly under the radar with Uceris.

Also, I haven't had any joint or muscle pain, not even with all the walking, swimming, etc on vacation.

Good for you, Theresa. Is it possible you're not sensitive to those others  That would be nice if that is the case. Hmmm... and Norman too. Please keep us posted on your experiment.

WTG Theresa! I am so glad to hear you're still having no issues with the foods you've added back into your diet. Enjoy a piece of cheesecake for me please.

I am getting very hopeful that I have finally healed enough! Notice I am still limiting to a few foods, best way to know what is not working.
Still don't have the guts (pun intended) to try salad or raw veggies.

Whatever works and what you can handle. For instance, I eat raw veg and salad all the time now, but I still can't do dairy and eggs. I would love to be able to eat chicken eggs, would make life easier. Maybe someday.

Vanessa how badly I wish I could, unfortunately each of us is different and what works for me might not for anyone else.

April 24 menu (Day 8 off Uceris)
breakfast:cheesy scrambled eggs, almond milk, coffee
lunch: egg salad, cheddar cheese, potato chips, iced tea with honey
dinner: meat loaf, brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, wine
snacks: New York Cheesecake & Welch's Fruit Snacks

No problems other than a little gas from the brussel sprouts (dry farts!) saw Norman again this morning.
Guess this definitely means I no longer react to eggs or dairy that has been cooked.
