A Logo For The Microscopic Ciolitis Foundation

Post by tex »

Hi All,

Does anyone happen to have a vision of the perfect logo for the microscopic colitis foundation? We're open to suggestions. Should it be simple or complex? Obvious or abstract?

I love the "Potty People" and our thinker. However, that isn't dignified and we want to be taken seriously.

There must be some creative, artistic Potty Person who can design an awesome logo. It's tough because our disease brings to mind "poop" and it is a whole lot more than that.

A visualization of an inflamed colon?

But then again, we have concluded that the disease also affect the small intestine...

I like the one we have, but like Sheila says it has to be a bit more dignified to be taken seriously.

I hope we have som creative people on board, who would love this challenge!

I agree with Sheila! Maybe the actual "thinker" on the pot with objects all around his head of what we have to think about with this disease. Again not dignified enough. We have to have some creative techy out there. This disease is so unique, it's hard to come up with a logo. Read next line in a valley girl voice " That's like soooo MC!" :pigtail: :pigtail:

I like that. It appeals to me because of my math and engineering background, lol.

MC can affect so many things in our bodies so I like that the circles intersect.

I kinda like something along these lines, but I don't claim to be a graphic designer:

A microscope?

A kind of spotlight?

Ok, since the circular design seems to be popular, how about this one?

I like that, Tex. What about Microscopic on the top? The words do balance better how you put it.

I like the 3 circles, but I find it to be a bit busy. I like the second one in Tex's previous post.

We can modify these in just about any way.

Here's what the last one would look like with the order changed:
