I have both Scottish and Irish heritage. Nobody else in my family has anything remotely close to the GI issues I've had for 35 years. I have a couple of friends with Celiac disease, and they are both mainly of Irish descent.

Irish. I have a celiac gene and a gluten intolerance gene. My mother had MC and probably celiac disease. She suffered with a horrid rash, probably dermatitis herpetiformis that wasn't properly diagnosed. My youngest son is showing many symptoms of celiac and dairy intolerance.
