A Catch Phrase

Post by cinemom »

I was thinking this would be a good catch phrase for the MC Foundation:

"I have MC but it doesn't have me"

Just heard a horse trainer in the Kentucky Derby be interviewed. He has MS, so isn't walking with his horse today. He said "I have MS but it doesn't have me."

I think it works even better with MC!

Just throwing this out there - what do you think?

Sure, that's a possibility. We could even have a "thought for the week" feature, or something of that sort.

Thanks.

Thought for the week sounds good, Tex, I love that idea. There is so much to learn about this disease, that we all have to take it in little bits at a time, so a learning topic a week would be great!

As I was waking up this morning, I began thinking about a funny idea - I'll let y'all decide if it is too silly or if it could be used.

We should have an MC Hammer animation and that hammer pounds on Gluten, saying "Can't touch this!" and then it moves to pound on Dairy..."Can't touch this!" then on to Soy..."Can't touch this!" Not sure if we need to hammer on eggs though. LOL

Anyway, weird that I had this "cartoon" in my head this morning...but fun!

It's coming up on my 6 month post-diagnosis. I'll write about that soon. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Wishing you all a good week ahead!

That's an interesting idea, but animations can take a lot of time (and talent) to produce. I'm not sure if we're ready for that yet. But it's definitely something to keep in mind.
