Lunch at Chang's

Post by hazel »

We did it! Alice and I had lunch at PF Chang's. It is lovely here, we have our first snow of 2006 and being with Alice was like being with an old friend. Well, not OLD, but you know what I mean. We have a lot in common--even know some of the same people. Am attaching a picture. It was funny--it doesn't show in the picture but behind us was the sign for the RESTROOMS. How appropriate!!!

Kathy and all,

You are speedy with the photo! Yes, it was very comfortable and fun. It is so nice to be with someone who understands why having one's picture taken in front of a "restroom" sign is very funny - without explanation. Only a fellow MC'er would get this.

Kathy and her husband are friends with Bruce's boss, at the "New Balance" store. We both like the symphony and had season's tickets until this year.

She is a sweety and has led a very interesting life. She and her husband and boys have traveled extensively all over the world, even camped out in Europe for months at a time. Now they're retired and on the road again - what a life! (Hope you don't mind me telling about you, Kathy).

We are going to get together on my side of town next time.
Thanks again, Kathy!

Love,
Alice

I'm glad you finally got to meet up and had a nice time

They just announced we are getting PF Chang's here in town - I am sooo happy   They are adding on to our mall - it should be complete in June of '07. Right now the nearest one is about 30 minutes away - too far for takeout to be a reality...

I like to go there and the Outback since I *know* what I can eat without asking the server a ton of questions - makes the comfort level that much higher, KWIM?

It's so great you ladies could get together like that. I now understand how special a meeting like that can be with another MC friend having had the pleasure of meeting Shirley and Christine.

Thanks for sharing- great picture! Hope you can get together more often since your as close as you are.

Joanna

I think it's so nice that you got together. Too bad the toilet sign didn't show up in the pic. And what an attractive pair of girls. Glad you had a nice visit...I hope you ate something real yummy. Love Oma

That is so great that you got to spend time together, my fellow Ohioans! You look like you've known each other forever!

We have quite a few MC buddies in this state, we should plan an Ohio get-together!

PS: funny about the toilet signs! They just seem to pop up everywhere! :crack: me up!

Love,
Mars

Oh what fun! You both look so happy (and pretty too). Some of my fondest memories have been meeting up with others from our family here.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Love,

Polly

How wonderful for you both. Looks as though you had a great time together. And fancy being close enough to be able to meet again, perhaps on a regular basis. It is a small world isn't it? What's that thingy about seven, or is it six, degrees of separation? Great pic.

I can't wait to go to the East Coast this summer and meet some of my buddies from that end of the world

Hugs to you both!
