Cheerios

Post by maestraz »

For those of us who can tolerate oats, and like cold cereal, a bit of good news from General Mills: around the end of July, all Cheerio types will be gluten-free, Gluten Free and More magazine reports. Apparently, GM has re-tooled the processing of the oats it uses, including building a new facility, and has removed wheat starch from the recipe. They caution to not buy Cheerios until you see that the gluten-free stamp is on the front of the packaging.

I think I started eating Cheerios as a baby, a long, long time ago. I like them straight out of the box, no milk. I'm looking forward to GF Cheerios. Thanks for posting.
