Hi Heaven,

Glad to see your post here. Most MCer's steer clear of fiber when they are reacting it is too rough on the lining of the intestine. If you are doing ok with the soluble fiber that is great, if you start to have D then that is a good sign you are irritating your gut and it would be best not to take it. If you are doing well with the soluble fiber perhaps you might benefit from peeling and over cooking some veggies such as zucchini, squash, or sweet potato. A lot of people when having a flare are unable to eat fruits or veggies, so it would be interesting to know if soluble fiber supplement helped anyone.

I hope someone else will chime in and give you their take on this topic.
