I hate that I don't have enough time to come here at least for a few minutes a day! I feel so out of touch and disconnected......
I had a huge interview yesterday....2 1/2 hours long, partly my fault for asking so many questions. I met with 6 managers of five different depts.
I thought I would be a nervous wreck but thankfully I wasn't and it went great. This was my second and if I make it through this cut I will have one more. Not sure who else I could possibly interview with, geez! I really liked the people, the company is awesome and the guy that would be my manager has a excellent philosophy. I could learn a lot! If its meant to be it will happen, I am not stressing over it.
We were told today that our part of the department will be transferred on 2-15. Originally they said we would be the last to go, like in April or May. We were all quite upset today. We have several employees from Minnesota in our office trying to get a grip on what we do. A couple of our managers held a meeting with them right in the middle of our space. So here are these folks that will take over our jobs and our very rude, inconsiderate management brainstorming right in the center of all these employees who are losing their jobs. I couldn't believe it! We have an empty conference room in our area. I certainly hope I find something soon cuz its only going to get worse.
I heard from Sally yesterday and we are going to meet for lunch on the 28th. We have so much catching up to do, I can hardly wait. Keep your fingers crossed....everytime we have made lunch plans something has come up to keep us from getting together.
I am flying to Phoenix next month to see my family. I miss my brother and his kids. I haven't seen them in 3 years. I am excited, also ready for a little sunshine!
Now, the story of a new dog in the house......Kylee went over to Lexie, got down on her hands and knees, lifted Lexie's tail and sniffed her butt. I swear there isn't one thing that gets past that child. She see's everything. We all laughed so hard, it was a riot. We did explain that this was how dogs say hi, but that people don't do it that way.
I have gone on long enough. I miss you all and hope that everyone is doing well and laughing some!
Big hugs!
Lori

So glad you could pop in Lor!
Wow, a lunch with Sal...please give her a big hug from me...I miss her.
Can't says that I've ever sniffed a dogs butt, but I understand why she did it. Guess I should be careful having my Mom on board...bet she's got some stories
I love your attitude on the job front. If it will be, it will be.
Much love and hugs my friend,
Peg
