Unfortunately there is only 1 EnteroLab, and it is located in Dallas, Texas, USA. Testing can be ordered from virtually anywhere in the world, but of course for those countries that are many, many miles away, the delivery costs are much more expensive. When we order tests from EnteroLab, they send a kit that allows us to collect a sample, and the sample is then sealed and frozen and we ship it back to the lab for testing. I believe that many overseas members use DHL overnight delivery services for sending the kits back to the lab.

The stool tests are so sensitive that they can always detect gluten sensitivity at least for a year after gluten has been removed from the diet. For other foods, as long as the foods have not been avoided for more than a few months before ordering the tests, the results should be accurate and reliable. If those other foods have been avoided for longer than a few months, the tests might still work OK, but there is an increasing chance of false negative results if we wait too long to order the test after cutting the foods out of our diet.

No medical test is 100 % reliable, but the EnteroLab tests are by far the most accurate and reliable tests available for detecting the types of food sensitivities that we have with MC. Here is a link to a poll where you can see how other members feel about the tests that they ordered from EnteroLab: EnteroLab Testing

In order to see the poll results you will probably have to click on the link that says "View poll results".

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Most members here choose the A1 + C1 Panels, because the price is discounted when they are ordered together. The A1 Panel checks for antibodies to gluten, casein (dairy), soy, and eggs. The C1 Panel tests for 11 other foods that commonly cause problems for us: Corn, Oats, Rice, Beef, Chicken, Pork, Tuna, Almond, Walnut, Cashew, and White Potato. But the tests can also be ordered separately.
