I just had lots and lots of broth. No soup, just clear broth.
It's best to make it yourself, or look for a gluten free, low sodium boxed broth. Low sodium is important since there is a lot of salt in most broth and you might be having it for every meal!
Jello is a maybe, if you can tolerate it.
I actually was told no yogurt, so weird that they would suggest it to you.
And nothing red! If you do decide to have Jello and sports drinks, stick to the yellow and green varieties. Orange, red, and purple can make it harder for your doctor to really see what's going on.

One time when I had 2 procedures scheduled 2 weeks apart, and they both required a cleanout, I lived on plain jello and clear carbonated soft drinks (such as 7-Up and Sprite) for that 2-week period. I was already thin at the start, but I lost another 20-something pounds (10-something kilos) during those 2 weeks. After a few days I developed frequent episodes of hiccups that went on for hours. They were so intense that my ribs hurt whenever they occurred. I lost most of my body fat, and it was very painful to sit on a hard chair or bench. And on top of it all, the GI doc's nurse insisted that I had to do another cleanout, anyway.
My point is, you might as well forget about nutrition, or eating a balanced meal that day, because everything you eat is going to be flushed down the toilet, anyway. You're going to lose weight on that day, no matter what you do. The clear broth suggested by Chemgirl is a good recommendation, and it's what I usually ate on those days when I had a procedure scheduled the next day. Sometimes I ate a little jello, and if I needed an occasional energy boost, I would drink a 7-Up or Sprite.
Good luck with the procedure.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

You have had some good advices as to what to eat.
If nobody has mentioned it before, ask the doctor to take several biopsies, not just a few.

You got good advice for your diet before colonoscopy and have done your homework. My suggestion is to have a couple of good books to read as you spend hours upon the "throne".
Good luck,
