A Little Good News

Post by jlbattin »

In a world where every day is kind of an unknown in our world, and some days are better than others, I have to say that I took the advice of Gabes and a couple of others on here and cut out the green beans on Sunday. My bloating has gone WAY down, and yesterday was the first day in a couple of months that I haven't had the side pains (not really pains, but more of an uncomfortable bloating, kind of like a catch that never went away). I realized it because I always sat with my left hand on my left side (that seemed to help) and drove with my left hand on my side, and realized that there wasn't any discomfort there. I'm not saying that it was totally the green beans. I'm sure it's the combination of a gluten free, soy free, dairy free, egg free, and most everything else too diet plus the budesonide. But, I sure feel better since eliminating the green beans.

It sure is amazing what each change does in helping to feel better with the MC. When one finds that right niche with food, supps and emotional centeredness its as if we almost have our life back.

So glad you found another clue to your MC puzzle

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Great that you feel better. You are doing the right things to begin to heal. Isn't it great when you know you've made progress and begin to feel better?
