Soy? Yes or No?

Post by Matthew »

Several months into the gluten free diet I began to realize that their was more causing my D than just gluten. I had suspected soy as a problem but was not ready to accept it. After eating a meal that had Tofu in it that resulted in explosive D, I began to wonder why a product that had been so widely proclaimed as good nutrition might affect me so much. I went looking for bad things about Soy on purpose. After having found so many products and so much media attention to it as good food I found the following sights that have convinced me that even people with healthy digestive tracts should avoid Soy at all costs.

Of course in the end it is something you have to decide for yourself but these links might give you a more balanced view.

A holistic doctors point of view on Soy

Dr. Mercola has a very large web sight with lots of links within it talking about anything from soy to grain free diets to the usefulness of Omega-3 fatty Acids for treatment of inflammatory diseases. Do a search for soy or anything else you might be looking for information about.

A sight that contains a lot of information in direct contradiction to the Soy lobby that is promoting Soy products as good health.
