The boyfriend started using my crock pot outside on my lanai (porch). Luckily I have an outlet. This is working out really well. It keeps the heat and cooking odors out of the house.

Sounds like a plan, Brandy. I wouldn't try it here in the Smokies of North Carolina. A bear destroyed my bird feeder which is located right outside my porch. It's a little early for them to be hanging around but if they smell food, you could have company coming. This particular bear has hit most of the feeders in my community.

That's a good idea, Brandy. I use my crockpot all of the time. It's such a lifesaver when working full time. I haven't used it outside...I'm afraid my 80 lb. dog would get at it.

I use my crockpot outside sometimes, too. But we don't have a dog, there are no bears around, and we have a fenced back yard.
