Question: LIALDA - Constipation VS its Healng effects

Hello, friends - Just had a visit with my Gastroenterologist. Since I am still not eating better than he hoped by now (approx. 2 months on LIALDA pill) and haven't gained any weight back, he upped my dosage of LIALDA from 2 to 4 pills daily. Not sure if it has been the LIALDA or my bland rice and chicken diet, but I have had some constipation issues lately.

Question: Might this higher dose of LIALDA heal my intestines faster, or just constipate me even more? He said that normal BMs can be from 3 a day to 1 every 3 to 4 days. I am experiencing the 3 to 4 day scenario now, on the 2 pill dosage. Hence my concern.

PS I am submitting my "specimens" tomorrow for the EnteroLabs Tests, so that should help determine my food sensitivities before my next Doctor's visit in October. He suggested my trying Entocort, but we decided to wait until I got the Lab results back first.
