Food Testing

Post by Mackey »

I had Alcat testing done a few years ago but it was done with a blood test. Is it better to get testing through Entero Labs (not sure if I spelled it right)?

Most of us have found virtually all of the blood tests to be of little value for determining food sensitivities associated with MC, because of excessive numbers of false negative and false positive results.

By comparison, the stool tests offered by EnteroLab are surprisingly reliable and accurate for virtually all of us, unless we happen to have selective IgA deficiency, and in that case, the blood tests won't work, either.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
