Forgive Me For Writing Such A Self-Serving Post, But . . .

Post by tex »

I had never checked for feedback on the Amazon listing of my Vitamin D book, and this morning I had to look up a link to the book because I needed it for an application form for access to an Internet research database of medical research articles.

There was only a single review, but it was by a physician, and I was blown away by what he wrote:
Excellent work

By Robert Carlson,MD on February 21, 2015
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase

Wayne did an exceptional job of approaching this topic. His format of linking to the different references made the reading easy and very powerful. Thank you for writing such a great book.
Needless to say, that made my day, and then some. I was beginning to wonder if the book had completely missed the mark.

Dear Tex,

We all think you write great books, and you help us so much, but to have this kind of praise from a doctor is very gratifying. Congratulations!!

Very nice comment indeed!

This topic needs more comments from MD's like this one, loved your book, I refer to it often. In fact I have just referred it to a friend of mine who I just learned wants to get proactive with her AI issues, she was so excited to learn of this site and your book. Hugs

That's wonderful and you deserve it for the time you have spent. I'm thinking I might need the Vitamin D book also. I love the Microscopic Colitis. It truly was a lifesaver.

Wow tex, that is really a boost!

I think a lot of people appreciate your writings, but most of the times we don't write reviews. It's very nice of that person to do this and that means that he or she is very impressed!
I appreciate it that you share this information with us. It's also a compliment for us, your internet family! :-)

Oops, I didn't intend for this post to read like a sales pitch for the book. Sorry about that. I'll be happy to send a free copy to anyone who wants it, or I can attach a digital copy to an email, if you will tell me what type of e-reader you use.

Thank you all, I appreciate your kind words.
