not sure what to do
Im back on here again. My main GI doc has told me that I am as good as I am going to get. Because of this i tried to switch to my boss's GI doc who is very good, so i sent my records to him and he told me that he isnt able to offer me anything different as a treatment and that i need to look else where. Im on a very strict diet, however i eat about 6x a day. My D has stopped unless i screw up something, but my weight is still going down; and my muscles hurt all the time. My origional GI doc has me scheduled for a upper endoscopy on friday...I dont know if i should do it or not. Im also weaning off my prednisone this week. I want to add more foods to my diet but im afraid of paying for it for 3 days if its something i cannot tolerate. Im feeling lost right now.
I am new to this too, even though I have had it for 7 years. It took that long to get the microscopic diagnosis. I started with enterolab to find out my food sensitivities. Are you eating meat? That's all I have eaten for 2 months along with either plain potatoe or rice. Make sure you only put salt on the meat. I checked my vit d3 by using vit d council. D3 can heal your gut, but takes awile along with mag oil that you spray on your body. Do you have your gallbladder? I am now taking questran 2 days in. It is helping to slow down my BMs. Also allegra daily for my mast cell issue. Make bone broth for yourself out of Turkey bones that seems to be the safest. Drink it morning and night. Hope this helps, I am doing a lot better since I have started all of this 2 months ago! Good luck!!

in line with Martha's reply above
my first question is - have you had your Vit D3 level checked? and/or are you taking Vit D3??
the other common areas that impact wellness;
Do you think you are affected by Histamine/Mast Cell??
keep in mind that a big part of histamine reactions can be non food type things, pollen, weather change, dust/crop dust, mold, chemicals, pollution, etc etc.
with the strict diet, is it low fibre, minimal ingredients, bland well cooked? minimal processed items and good serves of animal proteins??
Magnesium will help with the muscle aches, many here use magnesium spray/lotion...
lifestyle wise, how are the stress levels? work, family, other. Stress is a major trigger for some.
Medications - are you taking any other medications?
