SNRI Question

Post by Stephanie »

So earlier this year I think I got things somewhat figured out. The problem is, I changed a few things at once (in desperation) and it worked, but I am not sure if they all worked or not, and I'm scared to let some things back in to check! Lol
My issue is with Cymbalta. I was using this SNRI and it really helped me. But it was one of the things I came off and got better (also milk but I found out through Enterolab I have a casein interolernce). Would you guys risk trying it again? I really need something to help my moods, but I am scared for the crazy D again. Has anyone had any experience with Ssri or SNRI and being okay with your CC? Thank you!

Hi Stephanie. We all are different in how we react to things. If Cymbalta CAUSED your MC to be triggered, then starting it again could be trouble.... however, if it had nothing to do with it, then it could be fine. I just started taking a half dose of Effexor ( for my hot flashes) and it has not done anything to my gut. good luck

HI Stephanie,
Just throwing this out there, but once I balanced being GF, DF, SoyF and EggF plus started in on really good doses of Magnesium oil spray (like 16 sprays on all arms and legs morning and night - yes that is 32 sprays total for 528mg of elemental magnesium) plus a lingual spray VitD3 of 5000mg daily for the last 4 months my depression, and sappy bitter moods have improved quite a bit. I had antidepressant in my cupboard ready to take if this regimen didn't work.

Just another piece to our puzzle, perhaps you may not need the Cymbalta?
Cheers
Erica

:iagree: Depression, anxiety, and other mood issues are definitely associated with magnesium deficiency.
