Erica ......... Question about magnesium spray

Post by HappyBird »

My magnesium spray has arrived, Vit D spray is due tomorrow. I need to ask you how to use the Magnesium spray - it just says spray three or four spurts on the body and that it can be used like deodorant. Is it best to spray morning or evening and where do you suggest. I as thinking it might be best on parts of the body my dogs and birds don't come in contact with - legs. I plan on making this my next add to my dietary bits but need to stop itching from my recent unsuccessful addition of coconut milk.

I have magnesium spray in multiple small spray bottles around the house.

1 by the loo, I spray tops of legs each time I go to the toilet
1 by the bed, I spray stomach, neck, arms etc when I first awake, and when I go to bed.
1 by the computer, spray neck, tops of arms, stomach when on computer...

Hi Happybird,

I think it is ok to spray it anywhere you are comfortable spraying it. It won't hurt you unless you get in your eyes, or near open wounds or sensitive private body parts, that will burn so be sure not to do that  Gabes has some good ideas!

I spray it on my forearms, and my calves, let it sit for how ever long I can (anywhere from 20 minutes to when I remember to clean it off) and then wipe it usually with a wash cloth. If I forget to wipe it, it may feel a bit tacky on my arms, but usually leaves a salt residue on my calves so I try to wipe it so it doesn't look like I have a skin issue, LOL.

I notice if I spray it at the same place in the room I leave a film on my rug and flood and my Husband starts to complain that the floor is sticky or slippery...so if that is a problem maybe stepping into a shower may solve that.

Cheers

Thanks Gabes.......

I'll definitely keep my bottle with my iPad and have a few sprays a day once the skin test is done. All my life my skin has been a problem with creams, make-up etc. I do hope I can do the same at least for now while my gut heals nicely. I tried Kosher Collagen today, all seems fine at the moment. I'm hoping this helps with skin elasticity, nails, hair, joints etc. I have lost weight and my skin is getting wrinkly - it's either dehydration or the weight.

I bought the collagen thinking I could make turkey terrine and found it's not used in this way.

Thanks Erica.......

I'll step outside or do it in the shower. We do our own housework here, not looking for tacky floors anytime soon. I was concerned about my little a drench Bulldog licking my skin as she sometimes does. I don't encourage it but sometimes she catches me out as a way of getting my attention. Birds are also sensitive to chemicals so mine will be sprayed mainly on legs and abdomen

I do so miss something green on my plate. At the moment my food is predominantly yellow and white. My long suffering spouse has been sharing my diet at night. I have had a lot more empathy and help after she found this forum and read some of the posts plus Tex's book on MC. Family & friends don't really appreciate the problems we face. Certainly my GP took no notice of my extreme tiredness or exp. WD over the past five years.

PS. How can I add info to my Avatar area - where our country etc. details are shown on the (L) of the page under our names?

I just started using the Magnesium Spray and Magnesium lotions.

I've not had to wipe mine off after use. It leaves no marks or residue that I can see on my skin. I LOVE THE LOTION. I slather up after a shower (I have undifferentiated connective tissue disease, so my skin is ...wonky) and it feels so good.

Good luck with this. Once I get my gut settled a bit more, I plan to start a regimen of 1/4 tablet of magnesium each day for 2 weeks then up it to half, see how my gut does and go from there.

If you purchased Ancient Minerals here is A link to their application guide.

I started with the spray in the morning and Epsom salt foot soaks at night.
I have recently switched to the gel to get A higher amount of mag.

Hello Macardle3 & Terry.......

Thanks for the information and details on how you use magnesium. I can buy Ancient Minerals in the UK from Amazon. At the moment I have the Life-Flo Pure Magnesium Oil, if the oil isn't a problem I'll buy the bath flakes and lotion from Ancient Minerals. I'd enjoy a foot soak! 😉

I have a file on my iPad where I place tips & bits of interesting info - your tips are being filed for he future.

I have a bottle of magnesium caps waiting for the day I can tolerate them - its early days for me Day 10.

Tex........
Thanks for he info on adding to my profile. I just couldn't figure that out - BF no doubt!
