Compliments from my GI for Tex' book on microscopic colitis!

Post by sonja »

Dear Tex and all,

A few months ago I showed my GI Tex' book and he was willing to take a look at it. I agreed to get it back a few weeks later; he would leave it at the receptionist. When I asked the receptionist the book back, my GI appeared and told me he wanted to keep it longer. Last week I got it back. He told me that he find the book very interesting and very good. He was clearly impressed. He mentioned that he was amazed that such a professional book was written by someone without a professional medical background.

Sonja,

Thank you so much for letting me know about such an awesome testimonial. I hope that all of his MC patients may benefit from your efforts.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Tex,

I'm sure that will happen, because he told me that same day that many people with MC have the joint pains I suffer from and also agreed immediately with my proposal to use entocort in a low dose.
I found that remarkable in the light of his meaning about the book!
