Hey sorry for the delay in reply. Got sidetracked by everything. Anyway, I'll add the link later, but I've shared my MC story on the Crohn's and Colitis UK page on Facebook. I've also set up the fundraising page and technically started training. I'm also in the process of writing a couple of blog posts about it all.

Thanks for the support guys, it does mean a lot.

Hey guys. Just bumping this now so I can update you on everything that has happened since I first posted this. But while you wait for that here is a brief summary of events;

1- the first 10k went well.
2- first half marathon failed due to a colitis flare (I took the humours attitude and commented on the irony of this.
3- next half marathon is this Sunday.
4- after several months of ignoring me and my plight completely the charity I am doing this for are interviewing me tomorrow to share the story across their media platforms and possibly my local press too.

So watch this space.

Naty,

It's great that the first run went well. So sorry that you had a flare just in time for the second; I guess not working in the bakery was not the full solution to the problem!

I know you'll do a great job with the interview, and spreading the knowledge of MC. May the wind be at your back for your next race.

Love,
Martha

So it all fell apart and Crohns and colitis uk didn't do anything they promised.

Hello Nat.....

Sorry to hear about the charities. You have worked hard and it's seems unfair that they behave in this way.
I'm in the UK too, in the Midlands.

Oh, Katy, I'm so sorry that they failed to follow through. After you worked so hard and ran races, too!

It was good to hear from you? How are you doing on the personal front? Health? Uni?

Oh, I just saw your other post. Sorry for the flare.

Love,
Martha
