Hi Jen,

I got the diet news (after sending blood to Genova Labs for parasites, and blood to Meridian Labs in Renton to check the ELISA) of my pending situation just this last May 18, 2015. (I had the WD for 8 years - colonoscopy in 2012 - and no help until now). Early June I sent off stool to Enterolab, that was the clincher about diet.

I studied hard, all kinds of posts here, asked sooo many questions. Found my 3-4 safe foods and that is where I began. I added in the VitD3 and external Magnesium (because there was no way I could ingest Mag yet).

I ate those same foods until I saw a change, whether it was aches, pains, or a BM difference. This was not easy, lots of mind over matter here.

I soaked in Epsom salts at night, sprayed magnesium oil on arms and legs morning and night, worked on removing stressors in my life, planned better.

I still don't eat out....call me paranoid but I am obviously not ready yet.

It took 4 months to get to a point where I have not ingested Gluten, Dairy, Soy or Egg since May, and I have been on task with the supplements as meager as they were.

The closer I got to August the better I started feeling, not great, just better. I increased my foods to a few more ever so carefully over the course of the last 90 days. I eat my Home made bone broth for lunch every day, in fact it makes me feel well, and it tastes good too.

The niggles are things like my the thin skin behind my ears will seep, leak...etc can't wear earrings because my ear lobes puff up.

I have better energy now, I am learning to preserve it better too

Do I get confused as to what my next step should be, yes I do...some days I eat my safe foods in all kinds of crazy ways because I don't have time to process a thought and don't want to mess up eating something that is not safe. BUT I do not ever eat Gluten, Dairy or Soy (egg is on the fence but I don't normally include it in anything for the most part).

This is now rather long...but I hope you have an idea that this truly is a process, stick to your guns and it will happen, not IF but WHEN
Hugs
Erica
