I had lunch with Sally!

I called Sally this morning to see if everything on her end was A-OK and it was. So we were finally going to meet for lunch. We have tried to get together since last June and something ALWAYS happened to throw a wrench in our plans.

She is doing well, her new teeth are beautiful. She has to eat softer foods as her gums are still in the healing process.

She had a lovely green shirt on, her eyes were the exact same color of green and they absolutely sparkled.

She has her daughter and grandbaby staying with her too, so we compared notes, talked about our toddlers and how they can turn the house upside down if their needs aren't met immediately. Of course we absolutely adore them!

She has been going to Curves and loves it. She has to take it easy with her shoulder problems. She goes for her workout then comes home so Thea can go and she watches Korben. I am almost convinced that I should join. It sounds like the perfect way to start working out after not doing much of anything for such a long time (that would be me!)

We had a nice lunch and a great visit, lots of laughing. You know how funny she can be. I told her everyone said hello and that you missed her. She says hello and misses all of you too. She is so busy and doesn't have ANY time to get on the board. Gosh, can I relate to that!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know our Sal is doing well and looks great! She is such a breath of fresh air........we are going to work on meeting for lunch more often.

Hey Lori...thanks for the news! I'm glad you finally managed to meet Sal for lunch.

Its good to hear Sally is doing well. She is a funny lady...always a laugh when you are chatting with her. She sounds like she has life firmly in control.

Am thrilled to hear that you got to see Sally and that all is going well for her. I can sympathize on the teeth. Had tops done and will hopefully be getting bottoms done later this year - they say bottoms are the worst.

If you see Sally again, tell her I send my love.
